Eaglesham features in this months (January 2015) issue of British Railway Modelling, the layout looks great, thanks in part to Nigel Burkin who took the photographs.

Hi, Nice layout and article! Can I ask where the transfer for the two tank 'Pumpherson' wagon came from - Robbies perhaps?

Many thanks for your kind comments Peter, the lettering was applied letter by letter using transfers that were lying around. At the time there were no commercially available transfers that were suitable for lettering the wagon.

Best regards

Thanks for the reply - lots of work there putting together all the lettering!

The magazine article is very good - congratulations - can I ask another question please the 4 coach (45 ft stock) behind the Wemyss bay tank on page 45 of the article - the front coach is a centre brake 3rd, built by Lambie (I think - no extra layer lower panelling, as the Drummond style) is that a Decent Kit please?

Looking forward to the Cal. Rwy. coach book from Crassoc!

Thank you for your time

Yours Peter.

Thanks again for your kind comments.

The lettering sure did take a long time to do, but needs must!

You are correct in identifying the coach kit manufacturer, Decent Models.

Please keep an eye on the website as we will be detailing the extension build, hopefully updated every week or 2.

Best regards

Bill
