As we prepare for the Ayr Model Railway Show, 16th & 1th September, we have good and bad news to report.
Good news is that Eaglesham is progressing well with a good range of loco's DCC fitted (including some that are up to 50 years old and run like a dream) and new fiddle yards built. On the bad news front, Coldblow Lane is unfortunately off the modelling circuit, and may be sold on. During house renovations, Joe inadvertently threw out a number of boxes which contained all his modelling materials, tools and rolling stock, meaning he has to start from scratch again. Many years worth of tools and materials have gone, and the time and effort put into the rolling stock is immeasureable. As a result we have had to pull out the exhibitions that Coldblow Lane was booked to appear at, including the upcoming Ayr Model Railway Show. To the exhibition organisers, we apologies for this, avoidable, situation.
